The disadvantaged that are damaged financially due to voice phishing, etc. may receive loan of emergency funds.
New hope healing loan
- The Credit Counseling and Recovery Service operates the “New Hope Healing Loan,” a program designed to support the living stability of the disadvantaged and vulnerable, who struggle to maintain their living standards due to financial damages, by loaning emergency funds, such as school expenses, medical expenses, living expenses, etc., sourced from the New Hope Healing Fund, which was established from donations made using corporate business card points of financial companies, the Financial Business Association, and the Financial Supervisory Service.
The disadvantaged suffering financial damages by voice phishing, etc. and meeting any of the following requirements
- A person with no more than an annual income of KRW 40 million, with an individual credit score in the bottom 20%
- Person with no more than annual income of 20 million won, regardless of credit rating
- Victims of financial frauds: Victims regarding voice phishing, illegal private financing, savings bank posterior credit, unauthorized investment advisory and future business operator, incomplete sales of funds, parents of children deceased from insurance accident

Application for new hope healing loan
- A victim of voice phishing intending to apply for new hope healing loan can consult and apply (☎1600-5500) at the national branch counseling centers of the Credit Counseling and Recovery Service.
