- Foreign investment-related civil petition affairs are categorized into business acts. When key civil petition affairs are issued permission, other related civil petition affairs are deemed to be issued permission as well. These are referred to as “civil petitions to be treated in bulk” with the administrative intent to enable quick handling of various permission, authorization, approval, cancellation, reporting, consultation, etc. (hereinafter referred to as “permission, etc.”) of tasks required for a foreign investor or foreign-capital invested company to make investments or engage in business in Korea (Article 17 (3) of the Foreign Investment Promotion Act).

- A foreign investor or a foreign-invested company may request the Investment Support Center to act on behalf of a civil petition such as preparing and submitting civil petition documents (refer to Article 17 (1) and (3) of the Foreign Investment Promotion Act).

- Among civil petition affairs related to foreign investment, it refers to civil petitions that need to be treated individually other than those that are treated in bulk (Article 17 (3) of the Foreign Investment Promotion Act).

- Among civil petition affairs related to foreign investment, it refers to civil petitions that the dispatched officer can handle directly (Article 17 (2) of the Foreign Investment Promotion Act).
