Special supply of housing
Special supply of public housing, etc.
- As a member of a multicultural family, and the head of a household who owns no home as of the date of public announcement for the recruitment of residents for national housing, a person who has resided in the same location for three years or longer with his/her spouse may be eligible to benefit from the special supply of one home for each household to an extent not exceeding 10 percent of the housing built for one occasion under the criteria of priority set by the head of the related agency. However, if approved by the mayor or provincial governor, the special supply of housing may exceed the aforementioned 10% (Article 35, paragraph 1, subparagraph 18 of the “Regulations on Housing Supply”).
How to apply
- Those who wish to receive the special supply of national housing, etc. must refer to the criteria specified in the special announcement for the corresponding public housing and file an application by submitting the following documents (refer to the “Guide to 2023 Family Programs (II)”, <2023.1>, p383-394, Ministry of Gender Equality and Family):
· One copy of application
· One copy of form for consent to collection and use of personal information
· Documents demonstrating non-ownership of homes: Certificate for Taxation by Local Tax Item or Certification for Non-Taxable Local Taxes (Nationwide level in the past 10 years, for all household members)
* A homeowner who falls under Article 53 of the Rule on Housing Supply is deemed a non-homeowner
· Family relation certificate
· Certificate or abstract of resident registration
· Evidential documents on income
· If necessary: Documents demonstrating the applicant’s acquisition of nationality [copy of resident registration card, certificate of nationality or identification (detailed) certificate, certificate of person with disability, certificate of adoption (adoption relation certificate and full adoption relation certificate), confirmation of non-businessperson]
