Sickness benefits
- With respect to any days for which recognition of unemployment could not be obtained by an eligible recipient who has become temporarily unemployable due to illness, injury, or childbirth after reporting of unemployment, an amount equivalent to the eligible recipient's daily amount of job-seeking benefits (hereinafter referred to as "sickness benefits") may be paid upon request from the eligible recipient in lieu of job-seeking benefits: (Body part of Article 63(1) of the Employment Insurance Act)
