Free legal aid service for child care paymentA single-parent families and grandparents-grandchildren families, including divorced families and living apart together familes raising a child, are entitled to free legal aid services such as legal counseling and litigation by proxy for affiliation suits or child support suits (Subparagraph 5 of Article 17 of the Single-Parent Family Support Act).

Guarantee of child support payment |
Legal aid services for guarantee of child support payments (filing an application for compulsory execution, fine imposition, implementation order, direct payment order, security provision order, or detention) in case where the other party (i.e., non-custodial parent) does not perform his/her obligation to make child support payments. |
A single-parent family having applied for free legal aid services can receive financial aid to cover litigation costs and attorney fees (Subparagraph 8 of Article 7(2) of the Legal Aid Act).
