Special provision of national housing
- A project operator may specially supply constructed and supplied housing to members of a homeless household with three or more children (including a fetus) who are minors as of the date of public notice of resident recruitment, only once on the basis of one-generation, one-family housing within the limit of 10% of the construction volume of the building (Article 40 (1) of the Rules on Housing Supply).
· Where a person is selected as a resident including a fetus or an adopted child, an application for special supply and the following qualification documents related to childbirth, etc. shall be submitted or the adoption shall be maintained until the time of move-in [Article 40 (3) of the Rules on Housing Supply, the main body of Article 7 (1) and Attached Table 2 of the Operational Guidelines for the Special Supply of Multi-Child Households and Elderly Parents Support Housing].
1. Resident registration certificate or an abstract of the resident registration
2. Family relation certificate
3. A diagnosis paper of pregnancy
4. Confirmation of subscription account
5. A copy of the health (medical) insurance certificate (limited to the relevant person)
6. Documents proving income (limited to the relevant person)
※ However, in the case of housing of less than 85 m2 constructed and supplied by the State, a local government, Korea Land and Housing Corporation, or a local public corporation, a copy of the health (medical) insurance card and income certificate among the above documents may not be submitted when the project operator calculates income through the social security information system [Proviso to Article 6 (1) of the Operational Guidelines for the Special Supply of Multi-Child Households and Elderly Parents Support Housing].
- Housing of not more than 85 m2 constructed and supplied by any of the following business entities may be specially supplied to members of homeless households with an average monthly income of not more than 120% of the average monthly income (in cases of a household with at least four members including a fetus, referring to the average monthly income per household) per household of urban workers in the previous year (Articles 40 (2) and 18 of the Rules on Housing Supply).
· The State, local governments, the Korea Land and Housing Corporation, local public corporations, or public housing business operators under Article 6 (1) of the Enforcement Decree of the Special Act on Public Housing
· A real estate investment company in which the State, local governments, the Korea Land and Housing Corporation, or a local public corporation independently or jointly invests in excess of 50% of the total stake
