Issuance of certificate of eradication of vectors of infectious diseases
- If the head of a means of transport (ship, aircraft, train, or motor vehicle) intends to apply for the issuance of a certificate of eradication of vectors of infectious diseases, he or she shall submit an application and an annex for the application (only for ships) to the director of the quarantine station (Article 22 (1) of the Enforcement Rules of the Quarantine Act)
- Upon the request of the head of a means of transport, the director of the quarantine station shall issue a certificate of eradication of vectors of infectious diseases after taking the measures to eradicate vectors of infectious diseases, such as disinfection (Article 28 (1) of the Quarantine Act and Article 22 (2) 1 of the Enforcement Rules of the Quarantine Act).
A person who intends to export goods
Issuance of certificate of disinfection of goods
- If a person who intends to export goods intends to apply for the issuance of a certificate of disinfection of goods, he or she shall submit an application and an annex for the application (only for ships) to the director of the quarantine station (Article 22 (1) of the Enforcement Rules of the Quarantine Act)
- Upon the request of a person who intends to export goods, the director of the quarantine station shall issue a certificate of disinfection of goods after an inspection on whether the goods are infected with quarantinable infectious diseases, disinfection, and eradication of vectors of infectious diseases (Article 28 (2) 1 of the Quarantine Act and Article 22 (2) 2 of the Enforcement Rules of the Quarantine Act).
Certificate of bacteriological test on goods
- If a person who intends to export goods intends to apply for the issuance of a certificate of bacteriological test on goods, he or she shall submit an application and annex to application (only for ships) to the director of the quarantine station (Article 22 (1) of the Enforcement Rules of the Quarantine Act)
- Upon the request of a person who intends to export goods, the director of the quarantine station shall issue a certificate of bacteriological test on goods after bacteriological tests on whether the goods carry pathogens of quarantinable infectious diseases (Article 28 (2) 2 of the Quarantine Act and Article 22 (2) 3 of the Enforcement Rules of the Quarantine Act).
A person who intends to travel overseas, such as a passenger or crew member
Issuance of pathogen test certificate
- If a person who intends to travel overseas, such as a passenger or crew member, intends to apply for the issuance of a pathogen test certificate, he or she shall submit an application and an annex for the application (only in the case of a ship) to the director of the quarantine station (Article 22 (1) of the Enforcement Rules of the Quarantine Act).
- Upon the request of a person who intends to travel overseas, such as a passenger or crew member, the director of the quarantine station shall issue a pathogen test certificate after conducting a test to check whether the person is infected with any quarantinable infectious disease and has pathogens of quarantinable infectious diseases (Article 28 (3) of the Quarantine Act and Article 22 (2) 4 of the Enforcement Rules of the Quarantine Act).
Certificate of disinfection for each means of transport
Issuance of a certificate for each means of transport (ship / aircraft / train / motor vehicle)
- If the head of the means of transport intends to apply for the issuance of a certificate for each means of transport, he or she shall submit an application and annex for application (only in the case of a ship) to the director of the quarantine station (Article 22 (1) of the Enforcement Rules of the Quarantine Act).
- Upon the request of the head of the means of transport, the director of the quarantine station shall issue a certificate for each means of transport after disinfecting the means of transport (Article 28 (4) of the Quarantine Act and Article 22 (2) 5 of the Enforcement Rules of the Quarantine Act).
