- On the day of moving out, it is necessary to report the current electricity meter reading to the KEPCO Cyber Center (☎ 123 without area code) or the competent KEPCO branch office and then pay the rate as you prefer (by credit card or withdrawal from the account you have designated).
Applying for nominal transfer
- In cases where the user of electricity changes because of moving, both parties (the one who is moving in and the other who is moving out) shall report it to KEPCO within 14 days of the day of moving (Article 12 (1) of the Electricity Supply Provision).
- A person who is moving out (excepting persons of two or more households for one house and persons who live in an integrated contract apartment) can apply for a change of name through the KEPCO Cyber Center (☎ 123 without area code), etc.
- When a person who is moving in applies for a separate electricity bill because of a change of user as a result of moving, the electricity charges shall be calculated and billed for the previous and new users respectively on the basis of the date of user change (The main body of Article 12 (3) of the Electricity Supply Provision).
- However, in the case of applying, after the date of change, for separate billing for each user, the amount of electricity used for the month to which the change date belongs shall be determined in consultation with the previous and new user, and the charges shall be calculated and billed accordingly (Proviso to Article 12 (3) of the Electricity Supply Provision).

- The mover and the tenant must settle the mutual usage fee by applying for the removal of the gas stove and the intermediate valve at the customer center of the city gas company before moving, and conducting a meter inspection when removing the gas stove and the intermediate valve.
Applying for nominal transfer
- If the user has changed because of moving, an application for nominal transfer can be made to the customer center of each city gas company by document (including electronic documents) or by telephone.

- The usage fee is calculated by the day (assuming one month to be 30 days), with the usage period and quantity between the final reading day and the moving time.
- When paying a bill calculated in the abovementioned way, it is necessary to make a“report on the separation of bills between old and new owners (users)”to the local waterworks authorities.

- Applications for nominal transfer can be made by calling the local waterworks headquarters, FAX, or visiting.
