Checklist before moving
Things to do two weeks before moving
- When the moving schedule is set, select the authorized moving agency and make a reservation.
- Decide how to move and sign a contract with the director’s agency. Accept the standard contract when you use the packaging director.
- Clean the veranda, rooftop, and storage.
- Organize unnecessary items.
Things to do one week before moving
- If you move to a high-rise apartment, book a gondola or elevator at the management office.
- Change the address of bankbooks and credit cards.
- Report the transfer of address to the post office.
- Pay utility bills, such as water bills and electricity bills, and apartment management fees.
- Request to stop delivering newspaper, milk, etc.
Things to do 2-4 days before moving
- Check the voltage outlet location, room size, and window location of the house you're moving into.
- Draw up a furniture layout.
- Remove the structure such as angle, shelf curtain, curtain, partition, etc.
- Organize the fish tank and aquarium.
Things to do a day before moving
- Finish up the packing.
- Take the water out of the washing machine, and clean the refrigerator, air conditioner, and refrigerator pipes.
- Keep valuables, securities, and cash carefully.
- Remove the gas equipment.

- Check the packing, the cleaning inside and outside the house, and recheck personal belongings.
- Pay the moving fee.
- Check the electricity, gas, water.
Things to do after moving
- Unpack the goods.
- Open the phone, the Internet, etc., and install the air conditioner and home appliances.
- Go to the community service center of your new residence and report your transfer and get a fixed date on the lease contract.
- Transfer the child to a new school.
