Application for Approval of Factory Establishment
Anyone who intends to newly construct or enlarge a factory or to alter the type of business of a factory of which the construction area is not less than 500 square meters in the area outside of industrial complex, shall obtain approval from the Special City Mayor, Metropolitan City Mayor, the Special Self-Governing City Mayor, or the head of Si/Gun/Gu (Article 13(1) of the Industrial Cluster Development and Factory Establishment Act). Anyone who intends to obtain approval for the establishment of factory and others shall submit an application for approval of factory establishment with the following documents attached to the head of Si/Gun/Gu (Article 19.(1) of the Enforcement Decree of the 「Industrial Cluster Development and Factory Establishment Act」 and Article 6.(1) of the Enforcement Rule of the 「Industrial Cluster Development and Factory Establishment Act」).· A business plan
· A specification of authorization or permission and attached documents (when intends to obtain the authorization or permission)
· A documentation proving the right of use when the land and buildings are owned by others (only when buildings existed prior to use)
Upon the reception of an application for approval of factory establishment and others, the head of Si/Gun/Gu shall verify whether the application complies with the related regulations and determine upon the approval (Article 19.(2) of the enforcement decree of the 「Industrial Cluster Development and Factory Establishment Act」).
